To qualify as a founding host, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Own or have legal right to list your vehicle(s)
- Maintain proper vehicle insurance
- Live in a supported market area
Eligible vehicles must:
- Be model year 2010 or newer
- Be properly registered and insured
- Pass safety and quality inspections
- Be in good working condition
- Meet local regulatory requirements
Yes! You can register multiple vehicles during the founding host sign-up process. Each additional vehicle increases your earning potential and founding host benefits apply to all your listed cars.
Earnings vary by location, vehicle type, and demand. Our current founding hosts average $2,847 per month. With 0% commission on your first 5 trips, you’ll keep 100% of your earnings during the promotional period.
Drive Hive provides $2M+ comprehensive insurance coverage for all trips. This includes liability, collision, and comprehensive coverage, protecting both hosts and renters during active trips.
